The need for maintaining the temperature and humidity in a textile mill has been discussed in various forums and the same has been well accepted. Various equipment is available for providing the required humidity and temperature. The technicians working in mills are aware of it. However, in a number of cases production and quality are lost because of improper selection of the plant or inadequate maintenance. In this book an attempt is made to explain the principles adopted in different humidification plants and their adoption so as to guide the people in the industry. The experiences gained by the author in his 38 years of working in Textile Industry as a technician in dealing with the problems of humidification are explained.

The Textile Association (India) awarded him fellowship in 1985, and Institute of Engineers in 2009."
