About the Author :
Paramjit Gill is a reader in Primary Care Research at the University of Birmingham and an RCGP Clinical Champion for Social Inclusion. A founding member of the RCGP Health Inequalities Standing Group, he led on the Improving Access to Health Care for Gypsies and Travellers, Homeless People and Sex Workers commissioning guide. Nat Wright is the Clinical Director for Vulnerable Groups at NHS Leeds. He was a government GP adviser and is a regular contributor to both national and international guidelines on drug users. A past Chair of the RCGP Health Inequalities Standing Group, he is currently a member of both the RCGP Substance Misuse Unit Executive Committee and the RCGP Secure Environments Group. He has published extensively on issues relating to the care of drug users. Iain Brew has worked as a GP in several challenging settings, including with patients in secure environments and with extremely vulnerable patients. He has a special interest in the treatment of hepatitis C in primary care and is an advocate for the improvement of patient safety.
