About the Book

This book is based on a conference held in Washington in 1989, organized by the Research and Training Centre on Community Integration of Persons with Traumatic Brain Injury and sponsored by the National Institution on Disability and Rehabilitation Research. The purpose of the conference was to examine the nature of neurobehavioural sequelae, how they develop and what treatment methods should be applied to improve the potential of individuals to return to the community. This volume attempts to further elucidate the complex neuro-behavioural sequelae of traumatic brain injury.
