About the Author :
Bradley G. Green is Associate Professor of Christian Studies at Union University, Jackson, Tennessee, co-founder of an independent Christian school in Jackson, and Writer-in-Residence at Tyndale House, Cambridge, England. He is the author of The Gospel and the Mind and numerous journal articles and reviews, and editor of Shapers of Christian Orthodoxy.

Review :
"For the Christian, to know Jesus, to confess him as Lord, entails obeying him. But how does this reality relate to a plethora of complementary themes? Dr Green addresses this question by soundings in an impressive diversity of topics. . . . Along the way Dr Green interacts with various writers in the Reformed tradition, and with contemporary thinkers (e.g. Henri Blocher, N. T. Wright). The canvas on which he paints is large enough to draw in a wide range of readers, all of whom will find themselves simulated to think about these issues more precisely." "While role of works for those coming to salvation and in the coming future judgment have often been the topics of discussion of New Testament theology, Green's book fills a gap by focusing on the role of works in the ongoing life of the believer. His emphasis on the cross and grace-enabled good works in the life of the believer is a helpful correction to sweeping statements concerning the ongoing role of good works in the life of the believer." "As with the other works in the series, the book is very well-written, clear, and free from distracting details. Green argues thoroughly and persuasively for his thesis. . . . This book is a welcomed addition to the ongoing debate of the relationship between faith and works in the Christian life."
