Review :
I recommend this book for pre-kindergarten through eighth grade mathematics teachers wanting to learn classroom differentiation strategies and to those wanting to extend their knowledge of open questions and parallel tasks- Mathematics Teaching in Middle School;

“A must for any educator who is serious about reaching more students more often and achieving more positive results.”- Resources for the Mathematics Educator (from previous edition);

“When I read Marian Small’s work, I see the power of math revealed, but I also see her work opening that power to so many students who might never otherwise experience it. . . . I am a disciple of her approach to differentiating math!”- From the foreword by Carol Ann Tomlinson, William Clay Parrish Jr. Professor and Chair of Educational Leadership, Foundations, and Policy, University of Virginia;

""Marian Small's ability to make differentiation accessible for both teachers and students is second to none. Her book offers simple changes and new ready-to-use tasks that will immediately pay dividends in any classroom.""- Graham Fletcher, district math specialist, Griffin Spalding Schools
