The Wrong Side of Right

Sixteen-year-old Kate Quinn has a rough year. Right after her mother passed away, the New York Times broke a story that the father she never knew is actually the Republican presidential candidate Mark Cooper. Suddenly Kate finds herself at the centre of the political world, and the media scrutiny only escalates when the Coopers invite her along on the campaign. If all of that weren't hard enough, Kate finds herself falling for the exact wrong boy, a romance that, if exposed, reporters would go nuts for. When Kate inadvertently causes a major political debacle concerning one of the campaign's key issues, she begins to question how much of her new life is just for the cameras, and how she can still be true to herself.

About the Author :
Jenn Marie Thorne graduated from NYU-Tisch with a BFA in drama and quickly realized she was having more fun writing plays, short films, and superhero webisodes than actually performing in them. Then, when a flurry of political scandals hit the news, Jenn wondered what the kids at the center of the media's attention must be going through, and so began The Wrong Side of Right, her debut novel. Jen lives and writes in beautiful Gulfport, Florida, alongside her husband, two sons, and hound dog Molly.
