About the Author :
Jonathan Showstack is professor of medicine and health policy in the Division of General Internal Medicine, Department of Medicine, and the Institute for Health Policy Studies, School of Medicine, University of California, San Francisco. Arlyss Anderson Rothman is assistant professor in the School of Nursing, Department of Family Health Care Nursing, and researcher in the Institute for Health Policy Studies at the University of California, San Francisco. Susan B. Hassmiller is a senior program officer at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
