About the Book

In February, 1865, a Confederate congressman hires Basil Tarleton, a psychotic and deadly master assassin, to kill the Union by assassinating president Abraham Lincoln. Special agent Jack Tannere is despatched by Jefferson Davis to stop him and avert "The Curse of Cain" being brought down on the South forever. What follows is an intriguing game of cat and mouse. Was John Wilkes Booth a lone gunman? Did he have another mission? What about the missing pages in his diary that were never found? Was there a cover up? "The Curse Of Cain" follows the assassin and his hunter, both enemies in hostile territory, as they head for a collision with history and a conclusion that may change readers' minds about what actually happened on April 14th, 1865 at Fords Theatre.
