About the Book

The recruitment process is both costly and lengthy, and when a mistake is made it can be catastrophic for the organization and the individual involved. This text is designed for all busy managers who are responsible for recruitment at any level. The book shows that successful recruitment is a two-way process involving both employer and employee. Emphasis is placed on the fact that many of the actions involved do not require the highly developed skills of an experienced practitioner. They do however require thought, planning and preparation. The book demonstrates how to do this and make the right appointment every time. This second edition has been completed updated to reflect the changes in the labour market.

""Rather than a quick referenceguide or a source of ready action steps or tips, the book provides thoughtful background on each aspect of staffing.
