About the Book

A Practical, Penny-Wise Roadmap to Spellcasting Discover the secrets to practicing magick on a budget with this empowering guide. Featuring more than forty exercises, Thrifty Witchery shows that intuition, wisdom, and intention are more important to your magick than expensive trinkets. With these three skills, you can turn everything you touch into a magickal tool. Vincent Higginbotham and Martha Kirby Capo teach you how to see the world with a witch's eyes and mind. Learn how to safely forage for supplies, find specific items you know you need, and fabricate separate components into something new and full of magickal intention. You will speed up a spell with hot sauce, create sigils with liquid eyeliner, use eggshells for protection, and more. Most of all, this practical guide demonstrates that the greatest tool you will ever own is yourself. Includes a foreword by Jason Mankey, author of The Witches' Wheel of the Year

About the Author :
Vincent Higginbotham is the author of How Witchcraft Saved My Life and coauthor of Thrifty Witchery. Mostly self-taught, Vini is not initiated in any traditional form or witchcraft practice. He follows his gut in all things magic but spends plenty of time researching to be sure his intuition is informed by wisdom before setting his intentions. It is Vini's goal to empower others the way he wishes he had been empowered in his early years. He has a dedicated practice with the goddess Hekate and lives in the Southeastern US. Martha Kirby Capo (Miami, FL) is the editor of The Agora on Patheos Pagan and a member of Circle Sanctuary and Covenant of the Goddess (CoG). She has presented at Pagan Pride events, Mystic South, and Florida Pagan Gathering, and she can be heard on KPPR Pure Pagan Radio. Visit her at www.patheos.com/blogs/agora/author/mcapo. ~Jason Mankey is a third-degree High Priest and prolific Witchcraft author (ten books and counting). A bit of a nomad in his younger years, Jason has lived in both the Midwest and the American South, and currently resides in California's Silicon Valley, where he helps run two local covens with his wife, Ari. Jason has spent the last twenty-five years of his life researching the Horned God, Witchcraft, and magickal history, and the occult influences in rock and roll music. He regularly lectures and leads rituals at Pagan and Witchcraft events in both North America and the United Kingdom. When not practicing, writing about, or studying the Craft, Jason can be found spending time with his cats, whisky tasting, and listening to Led Zeppelin. Jason's books include The Witch's Book of Spellcraft, Modern Witchcraft with the Greek Gods (with Astrea Taylor), The Horned God of the Witches, Transformative Witchcraft, and The Witch's Book of Shadows. ~
