About the Author :
Kalen Delaney, a Microsoft MVP for SQL Server since 1993, provides advanced SQL Server training to clients worldwide. She is a contributing editor and columnist for SQL Server Magazine and the author of several highly regarded books, including Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Internals. Craig Freedman has nearly two decades of experience designing and implementing relational database servers, including 13 years as a Principal Software Design Engineer with the Microsoft SQL Server query processing and in-memory OLTP teams. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he researched parallel file systems and video on demand. Craig enjoys living and playing in the Pacific Northwest with his wife, two children, and dog.
