About the Author :
Ms Winifred Belmont is a graduate of Melbourne University (MA in Applied Linguistics), the University of New England (BA Hons in Literature) and Sydney Institute of Education (Grad.Dip.Ed in English as a Second Language). She is a published poet and reviewer, and author of the award-winning tUNEup Academic Writing. She has taught language and literature for more than twenty years and is currently employed as the Arts Faculty Mentor at the University of New England. Dr Michael Sharkey has a PhD from the University of Auckland and a BA in literature from the University of Sydney. He is a Senior Lecturer in English and Communication Studies at the University of New England, and has taught language and literature for many years in Australia, New Zealand, China and Europe. He is the author of fourteen collections of poems, and has edited several anthologies and literary journals.
