About the Book

Each workbook contains 30 French GCSE roleplays, presented just as in the speaking examination. They give students the opportunity to prepare and practise, with advice from the examiners on how to achieve a high score. For each roleplay, the prompts for the candidate are shown on a right-hand page. On the same page are guidelines about how to prepare the replies, and space for students to make notes about what they will say in response to each prompt. On the back of each page are the instructions for the examiner; these will be used by the teacher or a roleplay partner. The examiner's role is also provided in recorded form so that students can practise independently. Finally, each roleplay includes an explanation of the marking instructions for examiners, so that students can see exactly what kind of response is needed to achieve the maximum marks. At the back of each workbook is a list of key vocabulary. "French GCSE Roleplays for AQA" gives candidates all the practice and advice they could need to enable them to feel confident and gain a good mark in the roleplay speaking test. This pack contains 10 copies of the Higher Workbook. There is also a companion Foundation Workbook available.
