About the Book

The Writing of God presents proof of the seminal event of the Old Testament, when God handed down to Moses the word and the "writing of God" (Exodus 32:16), known as the Sinai Covenant. The location of the real Mount Sinai has been long debated. Scripture states it to be in Midian in Arabia where researchers have found stunning archeological evidence of the events of the Exodus, including inscriptions from the base of Mount Sinai. These inscriptions reveal an incredible secret of the Bible. The "writing of God" written by "the finger of God" (Exodus 31:18) is the first alphabetic writing! The Sinai Covenant was an educational covenant calling the Israelites to read, write, and "diligently" educate their children. The latest archaeological, inscriptional and astronomical research reveals the origin of the alphabet, location of the real Mount Sinai and the correct chronology of the biblical narrative of the Exodus.

About the Author :
Dr. Miles R. Jones is an internationally renown expert in accelerated learning who develops materials for home-schoolers. He was called from teaching CEO's and top executives in Europe, the Middle East, the U.S., and Latin America to teach in inner-city schools in Dallas, Texas. He taught in the inner-city for six years before becoming an education professor at Texas A & M. His previous work as a director of university English programs in the United Arab Emirates and a specialist with the U.S. government in Yemen, training military officers, allowed him to begin his research in the field. As an historical linguist, the origin of the alphabet had always captivated him. That original alphabet appeared in the path of the Exodus at the time of the Exodus. In his travels around the globe he continually collected and analyzed the data. This book is the culmination of decades of research. Dr. Jones received his PhD in Foreign Languages at the University of Texas at Austin in 1985.

Review :
The Writing of God is the fascinating culmination of years of research by Dr. Miles Jones. His book on the writing covering the rocks at Mount Sinai in Arabia is nothing short of profound. Backed up by definitive evidence, it is an ancient puzzle coming together in our day. This is a must read! Jim & Penny Caldwell Split Rock Research Foundation authors, God of the Mountain Miles Jones tackles a vital facet of New Chronology research - a revised timeline for the development of the first alphabetic script, from its beginnings in Egypt to the earliest scratchings of Proto-Semitic on desert rocks, through to Proto-Hebrew, Phoenician and Greek. The invention of our ancient alphabet - the alphabet used to write the Ten Commandments and the Book of Genesis - is a fascinating story with major implications for world history! David Rohl, author of Pharaohs and Kings, From Eden to Exile, Lords of Avaris, and Exodus Dr. Miles Jones is one of the few language experts exploring the link between the origins of the alphabet and the early writing of the Bible. This investigation for new evidence is both controversial and fascinating. The numerous connections brought to light in this new book demand further consideration by all thinkers. Timothy Mahoney, documentary film maker, Patterns of Evidence - Exodus "The stones will cry out!" Dr. Miles Jones has taken the inscriptions at Mount Sinai in Midian and made the stones speak! The Writing of God clarifies where and when God came to earth and what He said to the world. I cannot wait for your book to be published! Dr. Sung Hak Kim, author of The Burning Bush This is the book that ties it all together! The discovery of the real Mount Sinai in Arabia makes real God's deed to Abraham's seed of the Promised Land. To the world the Bible is a spectator sport. Here in Israel, the "writing of God" and the mapping of the footprints of the Israelites is the hope of this generation. Michael Rood, author of The Chronological Gospels
