About the Book

Imaginatively Illustrated Book for All Ages that warmly shares the mystery of passing through the Gates of Birthing and Dying. It colorfully tells the story of being "born in" ... of living one's life fully, and, then, of giving back to the Universe when we depart ...as we are "born out."

She teaches and tutors principles of two-dimensional and multi-dimensional geometry including the golden proportion, and uses large, life-size geometric forms for exploring the beauty and grace of moving in these powerful forms and remembering the angles of the great circles. Marnie is principal site designer and producer of the large outdoor permanent, museum-quality spiral walk installation entitled The Universe Story Journey at the Asheville School and is founding member of a group of educators from the US and Canada who developed experiential learning models for sharing the Universe Story narrative with all ages.

Review :
Hi, I just got the book this morning...and it is just Lovely! I can't wait to share it with my little grandson and get some straight up criticism - glowing, I imagine - from the eyes of a 3-year old, so I will give you a report. Thanks so much for the book, and Bravo! and salute to you. I know it's been a long time in the making and I think you hit it out of the park, so Bravo! I love the message and I hope it's an inspiration to everyone - I think it is the sweetest, most timely little potion and thank you for sharing. I LOVE the book, I love the illustrations, I love the words! I REALLY hope that people will have it in their stores and in their schools because it's NEEDED. It's LOVELY. I just think it's absolutely delightful and it's really perfect. So, well done, it's beautiful, and the world needs it! "Your book is Truly Amazing!! Reading it is a beautiful experience and I can see how it's relevant for all ages, and for those who are leaving the earth, it can lead minds and feelings to comprehend and deal with the fear of this natural progression of life. Brava!! Congratulations." "This simple, elegantly illustrated book warmly shares the Mystery of passing through the Gate of Birthing and the Gate of Dying...it tells the story of being Born In...of living one's life fully, and then, of giving back to the universe when we depart...as we are Born Out."
