About the Book

If you are a teacher, counselor or volunteer parent who would like to create a more positive and inclusive school environment, Peace of Mind is for you. The Peace of Mind Core Curriculum for Grades 3 to 5 is a mindfulness-based social and emotional learning program that builds on the foundation built in the Core Curriculum for Grades 1 and 2. Peace of Mind fits easily into the school week with modest preparation. Ample teacher guidance is offered throughout. Peace of Mind reflects over a decade of in-classroom development and is research-based. Lessons are scripted, detailed, easy-to-follow, and fun, and are designed to meet the needs of novice to veteran teachers. Peace of Mind: Core Curriculum for Grades 3 to 5 includes 32 sequential lessons, hand-outs, posters, original skits and teacher resources. Everything you need is here except readily-available storybooks. To hear what teachers, students, parents and communities are saying about Peace of Mind, please visit https: //teachpeaceofmind.org.
