About the Book

No king. No rules. England, 1191. King Richard is half a world away, fighting for God and his own ambition. Back home, his country languishes, bankrupt and on the verge of anarchy. People with power are running unchecked. People without are growing angry. And in Nottingham, one of the largest shires in England, the sheriff seems intent on doing nothing about it. As the leaves turn gold in the Sherwood Forest, the lives of six people – Arable, a servant girl with a secret, Robin and William, soldiers running from their pasts, Marion, a noblewoman working for change, Guy of Gisbourne, Nottingham's beleaguered guard captain, and Elena Gamwell, a brash, ambitious thief – become intertwined. And a strange story begins to spread ...

About the Author :
Nathan Makaryk is a theater owner, playwright, director and actor, living in southern California. Nottingham is his first novel. Marisa Calin is an actor, screenwriter and novelist, who grew up in Bath, England and moved to New York City to train at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She has written plays and screenplays and most recently her love of a good book inspired her to take charge of every facet of the creative picture and tackle a novel. The only thing better than being absorbed in the world of a film for two hours is being absorbed in the lives of characters for the duration of a book. Marisa lives in Greenwich Village, New York. Raphael Corkhill is an award-winning British stage, screen and voice actor. Raphael's film and television credits include The Goldfinch, independent TV pilot Manny, and Burning at Both Ends alongside Cary Elwes. His extensive voice credits include billion-dollar video game franchises Uncharted 4 (BAFTA "Best Game" winner), The Elder Scrolls Online and Titanfall 2, as well as the recent blockbuster ESO: Morrowind. His audiobook performances have been described by Publisher's Weekly as "terrific."

Review :
'The most pleasurable reading experience I've had since first discovering George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire.'
