About the Author :
Karen Tyrrell writes empowering books to help kids and adults live STRONG through humour and self-belief. She's an experienced Brisbane school teacher, gifted & talented teacher and motivational speaker. Karen spoke at Brisbane Convention Centre, writing festivals, conferences, libraries, schools and in corporate workplaces. Karen is a passionate writing workshop presenter and interactive story teller utilising props and fun costumes. She presented Writing Workshops for ALEA Meanjin Writing Camps and Brisbane City Libraries. Karen won an Arts Queensland grant for book Ready Set Discover Logan. Karen's acclaimed books include Song Bird Superhero series, STOP the Bully, Bailey Beats the Blah, Harry Helps Grandpa Remember. Karen won 3 awards, 4 literary grants, 2 sponsorships and a mentorship through the Society of Editors (QLD).
