Meet the Ted farm family. The Ted's have a very important job to do. They grow the food we eat and provide us with wool for our clothing. Without them, the community would not have enough food to eat and not enough wool to keep us warm. Unfortunately, farm life has not been easy for the Ted family lately, and right now, they need our help! Their tractors are broken, and their crops are not growing, and they are worried about the welfare of their animals and their own health and safety. We can help to save their farm by sharing their story and lend a hand to keep their farm alive! What steps can be taken to help them through this difficult time?

All her book titles are fully illustrated, fiction or non-fiction. She is an artist, author, illustrator, and storyteller. Since becoming an author, most of her books have been created for various causes. She is a long-term charity support worker. K.C (aka) KC is a lover of nature and a huge fan of our bird species and honeybees. Most of her artwork involve images of birds, cats, dogs, wolves, bears, raccoons, squirrels, honeybees, and sunsets. She has created several book titles during her artistic journey.

They work long hours to grow the food that we enjoy and they raise sheep for the wool that makes our clothing. In K.C. Morcom's Farm Life, the Ted family lives on and works a farm. Sometimes things don't go so well and they struggle to make enough money to feed themselves and their livestock. When supermarkets bring in produce from cheaper sources, local farmers like the Ted family suffer from the loss of revenue. It's a hard life. But Brother Fred Ted, who lives in the city and drives race cars, has a plan to raise awareness of the plight of local farmers. By doing so, people learn that they need farmers and must support them as a community so they don't lose the source of food and wool and so much more. K.C. Morcom's picture book, Farm Life: Support Your Local Farmers, is a great teaching tool for young readers. The author uses simple language so young readers can easily follow along and improve their reading skills. The story begins with an introduction to the different members of the Ted family, including the farm dogs, and then it highlights some of the things each member enjoys about living on a farm. The plot thickens when the author introduces the difficulties the Ted family is having with the loss of revenue and community support. The climax is Brother Fred Ted's plan which brings the community together and the Ted family farm begins to prosper again. The book is carefully laid out to attract young readers' attention. Each part of the story is carefully written on the outline of a tractor and accompanied by a colorful photograph of various members of the Ted family going about their daily lives. Beautifully told and presented.
