About the Book

Where the Heart Goes to Bloom is a deep exploration of the nature of the heart and where it truly goes to bloom. A personal, moving and enlivening work that explores the wisdom found between closed eyes, hiding within the deepened breath and within the fleeting nature of all life. Informed by the wisdom of Evolutionary Astrology, embodiment and the magic found within each day, connect with the depths of your soul and spirit through these pages. She was created in the quiet of morning song, Curled up in shapes written by my spine. When my heart was still dreaming, In a language only energy understands. She found me, deep in the night sky, In the landing-place of his steady heart, So I could be shown what needed seeing. She unveiled through the zesty flavours, Of usual, everyday unfolding- Where light danced me across old wooden floorboards. Hiding in the shadows- She followed me wherever the light lived. The pages of her curvy, imperfect & raw body, Calling upon me through morning kisses; In a moonlight sway, in a pause to feel the coming day. She percolated gently in rich black coffee & crunchy peanut butter on toast- Wrapping herself up somewhere in the middle Of my falling apart & coming together again. She is Love, with a capital L, Despite it all.

About the Author :
Jessi Simpson is the multi-disciplinary creative behind Bloompress; an integration of poetry, brand creation, words and photography. Jessi is an Writer, Photographer, Yoga Teacher and Evolutionary Astrologer, helping others transform their experiences into medicine for the world. Capturing what is real and true, she shows others that they too can be more than one thing in this world, that the heart desires for much more than we have been led to believe is possible. Through her creative direction, mentoring and photography work, Jessi is informed through her lineages of Traditional Hatha Yoga and Evolutionary Astrology. Through everything she does, she holds the intention of bringing depth, connection and transformation to the lives of others. Jessi brings in her multi-passionate nature-calling upon her many gifts from a heart centred place-in order to help the collective heal its relationship with our bodies, our communities, our creativity and our relational lives at large. Jessi now resides in a place where the mountains kiss the sea, tucked away in an old 1970s beach (love) shack with her lover & dogs in the Mid North Coast of New South Wales. Her days are spent slowing with yoga and coffee in the mornings, followed by simple days full of work that sets her soul alight. Her work consists of astrology readings, writing for magazines, capturing every day magic shooting for heart-centred brands and families, and teaching yoga and embodiment at a local yoga studio. Tahnee Kelland is painter and muralist, currently based in her hometown of Mandurah, Western Australia. Her murals can be found in and around Mandurah and Perth, Australia. Rounded in the subject of spiritual and inward growth, Tahnee's ever evolving painting style sways between symbolism and folk art. Recurring motifs, flowers, foliage and the female form draw the viewer into a reflective and meditative state where balance and serenity are the ultimate reward. Creating art since she can remember, Tahnee Kelland only began selling her artwork to the public in 2015 and was a finalist in the Frankie Magazine Good Stuff Award 2019. In 2020 her work was featured in Marie Claire, The West Australian STM magazine and she was a feature artist for international brand Wetransfer. Tahnee has worked with Australian designer CAMILLA on their 15 year anniversary collection "Australia" and other brands such as The Jungalow in LA and most recently Sydney jewelry designer Midsummer star.
