About the Author :
Jean Dermine is Professor of Finance at the European Institute of Business Administration, INSEAD. His research and publications deal with banking theory, the deregulation of European fiancial markets and bank financial management. He is also Associate Editor of the Journal of Business and Finance and Director of INSEAD's International Financial Services Programme.
