About the Book

This book is designed as a complete reference work for anyone interested in the art of acting or anyone studying to be an actor. It begins with simple, common sense knowledge and expands into more complex information. It is a reference guide relating to various aspects of performing for the screen. The content is laid out in a condensed notebook format and covers a wide range of subject matter which includes the technical, emotional, psychological and entertainment features of a screen performance. It incorporates original movie scenes which can be used for practice purposes, and illustrates the way these can be interpreted and performed in alternative ways. Anthony Perris has over 40 years of experience in the motion picture industry and has worked as an award winning director in the US, Canada and South Africa. If you're going to learn about acting, THIS is the man to learn from.
