About the Book

The top-seller in the market yet again! Simon and Susan Veness have cornered the market with the No.1 guide to the hottest destination for British holidaymakers. With so much to see and do, it's easy to miss the best and become exhausted by the rest. With this guide you have a holiday planner that takes care of everything - from when to go, how to get there, where to stay and everything to see and do. It saves time, money and confusion. A proven winner - this is the book to display cover-out and to hold in depth.

About the Author :
Sports and travel writer, Simon Veness, has been in the journalism business since 1981 and was the original founder of the Brit Guide travel book series - with UK publishers Foulsham - in the mid-1990s. He quickly discovered sport and travel were good companions as he developed the Brit's Guide series in tandem with his specialty for American sports coverage, for a British readership. Simon writes for: The Sun, Mail on Sunday, Daily Express, The Telegraph and The Independent and specialty publications, which include: RCI Holiday, Essentially America and World of Cruising Magazine (which he also edited from 1999-2014). He has featured on BBC TV's Holiday programme, various UK regional radio stations, and Fox 35 TV in Orlando. Simon also writes the 'View From America' column for SkySports.com. As final proof of the perfect compatibility of travel and sport, Simon's formative years were spent in Southern Africa, where his family lived for seven years. There he was the Botswana National Junior Tennis Champion (1975 and '76).; Susan Veness is an international travel writer, solo author of the hugely successful The Hidden Magic of Walt Disney World and its two follow-up titles. Susan is the co-author in the Brit Guide travel book series, having decided that writing holds more fascination than her degree in Bioenergetic medicine! She was among the first (very young!) visitors to Walt Disney World in 1971 and has maintained a keen interest in Orlando, Disney and the theme parks ever since; giving rise to an encyclopedic knowledge of all things Mouse-like. Her eye for detail and Disney savvy led her to becoming a contributor to a major (unofficial) Disney website and discussion forum, which she then parlayed into a job with the Brit Guide travel series as principal research assistant on their Orlando title in 2001.

Review :
Amazon. C.W. Bedfordshire. Nobody... should be without your absolutely brilliant guide; Amazon. Tefers. Fantastic book. A bible for Orlando.Trust me... don't travel without it. We organised our whole holiday around this book and we only queued once in a two week holiday!; Amazon. Paul Edwards. Amazing, factual and unbiased information given, a definite must for all (like us) planning their first trip into the unknown - Orlando. Faultless, interesting and light hearted, 5 star publication. So glad that I read this 'bible' before leaving for Orlando. [It is] guaranteed to save you money and time, enabling maximum enjoyment for your stay; Amazon. Chris. Best guide book I have ever bought! Second one I have read and have already planned most of our 3 week holiday in May. Common sense approach throughout with lots of useful practical advice. The 'Brit Tips' inserts are really useful and having used a previous version before our last trip 3 years ago, I know from experience that the 'ride' descriptions are spot-on; essential for a roller-coaster wimp like me and our daredevil kids !
