About the Book

The book provides self-guided tutorial notes that walk students through the essentials of using Pro/E software in engineering design. While many Pro/E books cover every feature of the software package, this book simply teaches the most commonly used commands and techniques. The authors also provide offers direction to students who may need to learn more advanced features of Pro/E or other CAD packages. While Pro/E and other CAD software companies have been developing new releases on an annual basis, Haik and Kilani focus most of their teaching on the basic material that does not change from release to release. With this approach, students will have command of the basic powers of Pro/E, but not need to purchase a new book with every new version of Pro/E..
