Team-Based Learning (TBL) is a unique form of small-group learning designed in and for the college classroom. Michael Sweet is a faculty development specialist for the Division of Instructional Innovation and Assessment at the University of Texas at Austin. Dean X. Parmelee is associate dean for Academic Affairs at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and a professor of psychiatry and pediatrics.
