About the Author :
Valery Ipatov is a currently a Professor at the University of Turku in Finland. Highly experienced in his field, Prof. Ipatov has been involved in spread spectrum research since the early 1970s. His knowledge and expertise have resulted in his being an Invited Lecturer at organisations and universities in England, Australia, Finland, China and Korea and have won him a number of awards from his native Russia such as Honoured Science Worker of the Russian Federation and distinguished badges from the Soviet Ministry of Higher Education. He has contributed to and edited four previous books in this field and his wealth of experience has resulted in his current teaching duties spanning graduates, postgraduates, researchers and industry engineers.
