About the Book

Presented in this volume are about 40 articles on Russian, Czech, Polish, Serbian and Croatian Literature by scholars from all over the world, many of whom are well-known specialists in their field. The volume was published on the occasion of the 65th birthday of Jan van der Eng, professor of Slavic literatures at the University of Amsterdam and one of the founders of the journal Russian Literature.
