About the Author :
Dr.Mrinmoy Majumder is working as an Associate Professor in School of Hydroinformatics Engineering (under Civil Engg Dept.) of National Institute of Technology Agartala,Tripura,India. His topic of research is Water and Energy Nexus,Multi Criteria Decision Making,Risk Analysis and Non Invasive Instrument Design. He has published more than 100 research papers and 12 monographs from multiple international publishers like Springer Nature,Elsevier,Willey etc. He also act as a Founder and Honorary Editor of the HydroGeek Newsletter and International Journal of Water and energy Nexus. He is also one of the member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Water Conservation Science and Engineering. He has successfully supervised the PhD program of more than 10 scholars. He has completed his PhD from School of Water Resources Engineering,Jadavpur University,West Bengal,India in the year of 2010. V.P. Singh is a Professor of Water Engineering at Texas A and M University. Over his career he has won numerous awards including the Engineering Medal of Achievement (University of Guelph, Guelph, Canada, 2017) and the Ven Te Chow lecture and Award (International Water Resources Association, 2017). He has published numerous books and journal articles and his research focuses on surface-water Hydrology, Groundwater Hydrology, Hydraulics, Irrigation Engineering, Environmental Quality and Water Resources. Dr. Rajiv Srivastava is a Researcher at Institute of Soil Science and Land Evaluation, University of Hohenheim, Germany. He did B.Tech, and M.Tech in Agricultural Engineering, and Ph.D. from Agricultural and Food Engineering Department, IIT Kharagpur, India with specialization in Land and Water Resources Engineering. His present research interest includes irrigation and drainage, integrated soil crop water management, surface water hydrology, climate change impact evaluation, and machine learning. He has published more than 24 research papers in peer reviewed journal in different domains such as vadose zone hydrology, surface water hydrology, water and nitrogen transport, climate change impact, crop modelling, 5 book chapters, 2 edited reference book, and co guest editor for a journal’s special issue. His Google Scholar citations are more than 370; h-index of 11; and I10-index of 12, and Scopus citations of more than 290; h-index of 11. Dr. Ganesh Dattatrayrao Kale is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat. He has more than 16 years of teaching and research experience. He has completed his PhD from IISc Bangalore. He is currently guiding 4 PhD students. He has guided six UG projects and 15 M. Tech Dissertations. His research interest includes detection and attribution of climate change, effect of climate change on water resources, assessment of hydro-climatic teleconnection, design and analysis of water distribution network, design and analysis of storm drainage networks, flood modeling etc. He has published 24 journal papers and his two books are published by international publishers. He has published 25 papers in national and international conferences. Also, one patent is granted to him. He has reviewed research papers of many reputed journals and conferences.
