About the Author :
Sachin Kumar Mangla specializes in Green and Sustainable Supply Chain and Operations, Industry 4.0, Circular Economy, Decision Making, and Simulation. With over five years of teaching experience in Supply Chain and Operations Management and Decision Making, he currently teaches at multiple universities in the UK, Turkey, India, China, France, and others. He is dedicated to conducting and promoting high-quality research and has published/presented numerous papers in esteemed international/national journals such as the International Journal of Production Economics, Journal of Business Research, International Journal of Production Research, Computers and Operations Research, Production Planning and Control, Business Strategy and the Environment, Annals of Operations Research, Transportation Research Part-D, and Transportation Research Part-E. Sachin holds various editorial positions and serves as a Guest Editor for special issues in top-tier journals. Additionally, he is actively involved in multiple research projects focused on various aspects and applications of Circular Economy and Sustainability. Yigit Kazancoglu graduated from Eastern Mediterranean University in 2002 and obtained an MBA degree from Coventry University in 2003 and Izmir University of Economics in 2004. He went on to earn a PhD from Ege University. From 2002 to 2005, he worked as a research assistant, followed by a position as an instructor from 2005 to 2008. He served as an assistant professor from 2008 to 2014 and an associate professor from 2014 to 2016 in the Department of Business Administration at Izmir University of Economics. Currently, he holds the position of professor in the Department of Logistics Management at Yasar University. Yigit specializes in logistics management, multi-criteria decision making, supply chain management, forecasting, and total quality management. He has published over a hundred papers in esteemed peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Business Research, Production Planning and Control, Journal of Cleaner Production, and Annals of Operations Research. Dr. Gunjan Soni holds B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) from The University of Rajasthan, M. Tech. (Industrial Engineering) from IIT-Delhi and PhD (Industrial Engineering) from Birla Institute of Technology, Pilani. He is having 19 years of experience and is now serving as an Associate professor (Department of Mechanical Engineering along with Joint faculty at Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering). At MNIT Jaipur he has developed several new courses such as Applied Machine Learning, Six Sigma, Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing Systems, Applied Probability and Statistics at UG and PG level. He has also established Intelligent Automation and Robotics Lab in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He has published more than 120 papers in various international journals. He has guided 12 PhDs and over 24 Masters’ theses. He is doing four research projects in which two are international and other two are at national level. His major research contributions are in the areas of supply chain optimization, predictive maintenance, and AI applications in manufacturing systems. Dr. Surya Prakash is Associate Professor, Operations Management at Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurugram, India. He has rich experience of teaching and research at BML Munjal University, IIHMR University Jaipur. He received his Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, India, and master’s in manufacturing systems from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Rajasthan, India. Dr. Prakash has published research articles in leading OM and SCM journals. He has edited book on risk and reliability in operations management and led FDPs, MDPs and funded research projects. His research interests include supply chain management, network design, robust optimization, Industry 4.0, and decision making in operations management.
