About the Book

The book provides a comprehensive, easily accessible source of information to aid practitioners with the education of their patients and to help them to take increasing responsibility for improving and maintaining their own health. About the Author :
Jenny Jamison is a qualified medical doctor. She also has doctorates in Education and Publich Health as well as a PhD. Her particular expertise is in medical and health education. She is an expert in teaching strategies and their application to health care and patient education.
She is author of another CL title - Differential Diagnosis -for Primary Practice, which was published in Jan 99 since when it has sold 3000 copies of which 1220 have been to the USA.
Jamison has worked in South Africa and the USA as well as in Australia and is well known in those countries. She teaches to chiropractic and comp therapy students as well as to medical and allied health undergraduates.
