Review :
"The diagrams and coloured drawings in this work are striking and easy to remember. All the colour photomicrographs are of a high quality and emphasize the information given in the text. i think that even advanced trainees will profit from this book as a supplement colour atlas. I'm sure that it won't get dusty on my shelf." Dr K v. Maltzan, ACP News- Spring 2003 Basic Histopathology is an outstanding supplement to standard pathology textbooks. After four editions, the authors have added some excellent features, including revised content with more emphasis on clinical relavence, new and better quality photomicrographs, and a larger size designed to make the material even clearer. For preclinical and clinical medical and dental students, it is a must purchase. For graduate students in veterinary, laboratory and animal science, it would be a valuable addition. This is a color atlas and text worth every penny because it will surely be referred to again and again. A highly recommended book for academic libraries and as a supplement for students in any course dealing with histology and/or pathology."Life Science Book Review studying pathology at undergraduate level, or as a postgraduate histopathology student could do much worse than open this text. It is simply dripping with exquisitely detailed colour photomicrographs, which are labeled by way of letters referred to in the accompanying figures. This text also provides an excellent source of reference to all junior doctors who attend multidisciplinary meetings where the opportunity for clinico-pathological correlation is taken, and future management is discussed. For a mere £35 I strongly recommend all medical students, Junior doctors and post-grad students of pathology to go out straight away and buy this fantastic text! " Richard Jones, www.forensicmed.co.uk, February 2004
