About the Author :
Gregory Orr is the author of twelve collections of poetry as well as two works of prose, Poetry as Survival and The Blessing. He has received the Award in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and two National Endowment of the Arts fellowships. A professor of English at the University of Virginia, he lives in Charlottesville.
