Review :
This is a lovely book and David Melling's illustrations are excellent. - writeaway.org It was just great fun to think up such magical creatures, and wonderful to read about them in the book. It was BRILLIANT. - Alice Cauldwell, age 6 Usually we read a book in class but this time we used our imagination to make up our own story with David Melling. I will never forget the experience. - Alice Onion, age 6 'A once in a lifetime, magical journey that left each of us believing we are creative [or in our own creativity] and to follow the dream' Forever in David's debt,' - Anne Wattam, Teacher, Class 3. A warm tale of friendship... - Junior Bears and crocodiles - usually the villains of the piece - are, in this sweet story, just two lost souls looking for a friend. .... I wasn't surprised to learn that this book had been written in collaboration with a class of school children - there is a certain naive stream-of-consciousness feel to the plot that only adds to its appeal. - Carousel Endearing and poignant tale enhanced by appealing illustrations. - Bournemouth Daily Echo Extremely inventive. - School Librarian
