Peter Scales is Learning and Teaching Adviser for the School of Education and Social Sciences at the University of Derby, UK. He has over thirty years’ experience of learning and teaching in further and higher education. He is lead author of Continuing Professional Development in the Lifelong Learning Sector (Open University Press 2011).
