About the Author :
Gordon Grant is Emeritus Professor at the Centre for Health and Social Care at Sheffield Hallam University. He works as an Academic Coordinator with Paul Ramcharan for the Learning Disability Research Initiative, established to inform the implementation of Valuing People (2001-2007). Paul Ramcharan is Senior Lecturer in Disability Studies at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia. He is Academic Coordinator of the Learning Disability Research Initiative. Margaret Flynn is Principal Researcher at the Centre for Health and Social Care Research at Sheffield Hallam University. She is also Chair of the Stephen Hoskin serious case review and Chair of Lancashire County Council's Safeguarding Board, and works as an independent consultant. Malcolm Richardson is Principal Lecturer and Associate Subject Group Leader in the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing at Sheffield Hallam University.
