About the Author :
JANE GRAYSON is Lecturer in Russian language and literature at SSEES, University College London. Her publications include Nabokov Translated: A Comparison of Nabokov's Russian and English Prose, Nikolay Gogol: Text and Context (co-edited with Faith Wigzell,) Ideology in Russian Literature (co-edited with Richard Freeborn) and numerous articles on twentieth-century Russian and Soviet literature. - ARNOLD MCMILLIN, Professor of Russian Literature at SSEES, University College London has written extensively on Belarusian and Russian language and literature. His latest monograph is Belarusian Literature in the 1950s and 60s: Release and Renewal. - PRISCILLA MEYER is Professor of Russian at Wesleyan University and the author of Find What the Sailor Has Hidden: Vladimir Nabokov's 'Pale Fire' and other articles on Nabokov.
