About the Author :
Christopher J. Rapuano is already serving as the Associate Editor for the Yearbook of Ophthalmology as part of the Wills Eye Hospital?s world renowned cornea service under the direction of Peter Laibson. He currently holds an appointment as Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Thomas Jefferson University and also supervises the cornea residency rotation where he was awarded the Golden Apple Teaching Award by the Wills Eye Hospital Residents. As co-chair of the Refractive Surgery Department and an educator of the anterior segment at this premier eye institution, his profile is high on both the lecture circuit and in publishing activities. He is on the Editorial Board of the Review of Ophthalmology and has co-authored the successful handbook: The Wills Eye Manual: Office and Emergency Room Diagnosis and Treatment of Eye Disease (Lippincott). Dr. Rapuano comes highly recommended as an author as well as one whois tuned in to the education needs of both practicing ophthalmologists and those in training.
