About the Book
Though they are sisters, Kit and Jenny could not be more different. Jenny is the dutiful daughter, following in her father's footsteps to become a Texas cop. A detective in the Austin Police Department, she is surprised when she sees a crime report with her sister's name on it.Rebellious Kit is always trying to escape the fallout of her mother's death and the gravitational pull of her father's expectations. Working as a stripper, she is living in a night time world of pseudonyms and lies. About the Author :
KIM WOZENCRAFT is author of four previous novels: "Wanted," "The Catch," "Notes from the Country Club," and the internationally bestselling "Rush," which was made into a feature film starring Jennifer Jason Leigh. Her work has appeared in "The Best American Essays," "Texas Monthly," the "Los Angeles Times," New York "Newsday," and numerous literary magazines and anthologies. She was executive editor at "Prison Life" magazine, has written for HBO Films, and holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Columbia University. She lives in upstate New York with her three children.
