La inteligencia no es una hazana. Naces inteligente. Los arboles son inteligentes a su manera, tienen suficiente inteligencia para su propia vida. Los animales son inteligentes. De hecho, lo que las religiones denotan al decir Dios es solo esto: que el universo es inteligente, que hay inteligencia oculta en todas partes. La vida es inteligencia. Solo el hombre se ha vuelto falto de inteligencia. El hombre ha danado el flujo natural de la vida. Has visto alguna vez un pajaro al que puedas llamar estupido? Has visto alguna vez un animal al que puedas llamar idiota? No, esas cosas solo le pasan al hombre. Algo ha ido mal. La inteligencia del hombre ha sido danada, corrompida, ha sido mutilada. Y la meditacion no es otra cosa que deshacer ese dano. La meditacion no sera necesaria en absoluto si se deja en paz al hombre. Si el cura y el politico no interfieren con la inteligencia del hombre, no habra necesidad de meditacion. La meditacion es medicinal: primero hay que crear la enfermedad, entonces sera necesaria la meditacion. Si no hay enfermedad, la meditacion no es necesaria. Todo nino nace inteligente, y en el momento que nace el nino nos abalanzamos sobre el y empezamos a destruir su inteligencia, porque la inteligencia es peligrosa para la estructura politica, para la estructura social, para la estructura religiosa. La inteligencia es naturalmente rebelde. Si eres inteligente, resolveras tus problemas tu mismo. La inteligencia es suficiente para resolver todos los problemas. De hecho, no importa que problemas se creen en la vida, tu tienes mas inteligencia que esos problemas. Es una provision, es un regalo de la naturaleza. El miedo es como la herrumbre: destruye toda la inteligencia. Los miedos hay que crearlos, y la avaricia hay que crearla. La inteligencia no es avariciosa. Te sorprendera saber que un hombre inteligente nunca es avaricioso. La avaricia forma parte de la falta de inteligencia. Una persona inteligente no tiene miedo, no es avariciosa."
