JANI KAARLEJ RVI acts as Special Advisor to the President of Sitra, former Prime Minister of Finland, Mr Esko Aho. He graduated with Master's degrees in Economics, International Politics and Local Governance from the University of Tampere, Finland, and earned his PhD in European Political Economy from the University of Sheffield, UK. He has been a Researcher at the Political Economy Research Centre in Sheffield, UK, and at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies in Cologne, Germany. He has also been an academic assistant, researcher, lecturer and consultant at the University of Tam
