MyHistoryLab
Basic Description
MyHistoryLab is a learning and assessment tool that allows instructors to assess student performance and adapt course content without investing a lot of additional time or resources. Students can test themselves on key content, track their progress, and utilize individually tailored study plan activities, including an e-book, simulations, podcasts, newsfeeds, and application exercises.

E-Book
Students can save time and improve results by having access to their book online. Just like the printed text, they can highlight particular passages and take important notes in the margins.
Gradebook
Students can monitor their progress and instructors can monitor the progress of their entire class. Automated grading of quizzes and assignments helps both instructors and students save time and monitor their results throughout the course.
History Bookshelf
Read, download, or print 100of the most commonly assigned history works like Thomas Paine's Common Sense, Upton Sinclair's The Jungle, or Machiavelli's The Prince.
Research Tools
Complete with extensive help on the research process and credible databases of reliable source material, such as the EBSCO Academic Journal, helps students quickly and efficiently make the most of their research time.
Primary Sources
MyHistoryLab contains many Primary Source documents and images for students to analyze and interpret. These sources have introductions and many have accompanying review questions. Those documents with the Grade Tracker logo next to the title will report to Grade Tracker, allowing the student and instructor to assess proficiency.
Interactive Maps
With MyHistoryLab, interactive maps help students understand the geography. Many have accompanying review questions to test students’ understanding of the map.
Study Plan
A customized study plan helps students save time and improve results by focusing on what they don't know to help them understand the material in the course.
Pre-Test and Post-Test
Two quizzes per chapter allow students to review their knowledge of the material and concepts. Chapter feedback provides links that take students directly to the relevant section of the E-Book . These Pre- and Post-Test results generate a customized study plan for the student.
Chapter Exam
Each chapter has a chapter exam, the results of which report to an online Gradebook.
History Toolkit
The History Toolkit gives students an edge in taking their history course with its guided tutorials that explain the difference between primary and secondary sources and help students learn to analyze several types of sources. Also included are a history course survival guide called Everything You Need to Know About Your History Course, Tutorial: How to Analyze Primary Sources, and links to select websites.
Flashcards
With MyHistoryLab, students save time by using ready-made flashcards to help them study for their exams.
Multimedia Library
One click away, students and instructors can save time and see all of the different resources available to them in one place. Resources include documents, images, maps, audio, videos, and more, many of which have review questions that report to Gradetracker.
