Review :
`This is the third edition of an important reference for practicing and budding urologists (the previous edition was published in 2009). Experts in the field provide a succinct yet relevant and contemporary review of pertinent topics in urology...This book will continue to be a necessary part of any student's or practicing urologist's library. Its beauty lies in its ability to pack so much relevant information into a small, portable package. In the rapidly changing field of urology, this update is necessary.' Oxford Handbook of Urology, June 2013 This 3rd edition of the Oxford Handbook of Urology is an excellent reference text. It's written in a clear concise manner with a focus on medical and surgical aspects of urology, highly recommended for healthcare professional for whom a knowledge of urology is a requirement. `The Oxford Medical Handbooks have always impressed me for how accessible and easy to understand they are, whilst also having an impressive amount of detail. This very much applies to this third edition of the Oxford Handbook of Urology... The core topics are covered with surprising detail for a handbook. On top of this there is coverage of topics relevant for the practice of urology such as basic renal physiology and how to communicate effectively with patients, making a very rounded and complete handbook for this field... For a senior urologist it has all the important updates in urological current evidence, conducive for excellent evidence-based practice. As a trainee this book will be invaluable to me.'
