Review :
"Research Methods: From Theory to Practice is the most comprehensive and overall best research methodology book I have seen in years. It not only provides the student with a strong background in research theory but also prepares them to perform their own research better than any book I have read." -- Andrew Triplett, Loyola University Chicago "This excellent new text brings the teaching of research methods into the twenty-first century. It is refreshingly well written, contains a variety of important topics not covered in other methods texts." --Randolph R. Cornelius, Vassar College "This book provides a complete, yet personalized coverage of the discipline of Research from the perspective of a set of distinguished practitioners in the field...That is really quite remarkable." --Frank M. Groom, Ball State University "I like the current approach to discussing data analyses and the emphasis on effect sizes. In these areas, Research Methods: From Theory to Practice is far beyond its competitors." --Catherine Forestell, The College of William and Mary
