About the Author :
Bud Smith has written and edited many books over the last 25 years covering a wide variety of computer topics, including guides to buying a computer, using all kinds of software, and doing almost anything you can think of online. His most recent title is Sams Teach Yourself Tumblr in 10 Minutes, with in-depth coverage of the new, exciting micro-blogging platform.   Bud began writing computer books back in 1984, the year of the iconic 1984 television commercial for the Macintosh. An early success was his Computer’s Buyer’s Guide for Que, covering the then-latest and greatest in computer hardware and software. Bud continues to work as a writer, project manager, and marketer to help people get the most out of technology as it advances.
