About the Book

Designed for introductory and upper-level American Literature courses. A database of more than 1,600 selections, The Pearson Custom Library of American Literature gives instructors the option to create a customized book specifically tailored to their own American Literature course. The Pearson Custom Library of American Literature allows instructors to choose from a varied list of authors and selections, as well as decide which pedagogical context will support those selections. In addition, instructors may add syllabi, course materials, campus-specific library guides, their students' work, favorite readings, and just about anything else—up to 20% of the final anthology's length. Pearson Custom Publishing will obtain all necessary copyright clearances. Just as courses change from year to year or even term to term, so can your anthology. The Pearson Custom Library of American Literature gives you the flexibility to revise the content of your anthology each semester.
