Review :
‘Dark, disturbing and totally addictive. A first class serial killer thriller from a bold new voice’ Chris Whitaker, author of We Begin at the End ‘Echoes of Lisa Gardner, Jeffery Deaver, Stuart MacBride – The Echo Man evokes that same classic, satisfying, red-blooded fear. But Sam Holland’s stellar debut is very much its own beast, wily and brawny and dangerous: a lethal new predator in an alluringly old-school skin’ A. J. Finn, author of The Woman in the Window ‘Addictively dark and instantly gripping. Every crime fiction fan should read this book. Holland will bring out the rubbernecker in you – once you start reading, you won’t be able to look away’ Jack Jordan, author of Do No Harm ‘One of the most disturbing, shocking serial killers in recent memory…dark, twisted, and utterly brilliant’ M.W. Craven, author of The Puppet Show ‘Utterly compelling, the story rushes forward relentlessly…a writer to watch’ Daily Mail ‘Twisted and unsettling with complex, troubled characters’ Harriet Tyce, author of Blood Orange ‘I loved this book and absolutely devoured it’ Catherine Cooper, author of The Chalet ‘I raced through this page-turner and slept with the light on after finishing it!’ Elle Croft, author of The Guilty Wife ‘Sam Holland will keep you gripped’ Jo Furniss, author of All the Little Children ‘Terrifying but compulsive, this gripping novel was so dark I’m sleeping with the lights on’ Eleanor Ray, author of Everything is Beautiful ‘A masterful thriller – gritty, original, fast-paced and utterly riveting’ Abby Davies, author of Mother Loves Me ‘A whiplash thriller, gut-wrenching tension, probably the most fun you can have with a sadistic murderer’ Dominic Nolan, author of Past Life ‘Graphic and gruesome, a real bloodbath of a book!’ Victoria Selman, author of Blood for Blood ‘So dark and atmospheric…reads like a Who’s Who of serial killers’ Russ Thomas, author of Firewatching
