Rashid A. SaeedRashid A. Saeed obtained a Ph.D. from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in Communications Network Engineering. Currently, he holds positions as a professor in the Computer Engineering Department at Taif University and is also in the Electronics Departmnt at the Sudan University of Science and Technology (SUST). His professional experience extends beyond academia, having served as a senior researcher in Telekom Malaysia™ Research and Development (TMRND) and MIMOS. Additionally, he has held significant administrative roles, including Deputy Director of the Scientific Research and Innovation Directorate at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Sudan, and Deputy Dean for Scientific Research at SUST. Prof. Rashid has made substantial contributions to research with over 200 publications, including research papers, books, and book chapters, focusing on wireless communications and networking. His research interests primarily revolve around wireless communication networks, and he holds 13 patents in related areas. Prof. Rashid has supervised more than 50 MSc and Ph.D. students. He is recognized for his professional affiliations, including Senior Membership in IEEE and memberships in IEM (I.E.M), SigmaXi, and SEC.
