L L RichmanL.L. Richman has a diverse career background, having spent more than a decade working in radiation physics, and twice that as a director of film and video. Richman is also a pilot and avid photographer. The Biogenesis series explores both the biophyscs of chirality and the intricacies of high-energy radiation physics in a fun and entertaining way. I passionately believe that learning can be fun. I think science fiction is an especially powerful medium in which to do this. It serves up knowledge, education, and an expansion of our awareness -- not just of the sciences, but of our own human condition -- in an engaging and easy-to-grasp way. I also believe that to stop learning is to allow a part of you to die. Hopefully, if I've done my part right, it won't feel like learning.
