A senior member of the Shadow Cabinet since its inception in 1999, Kenny has held portfolios covering enterprise, transport, tourism, telecommunications and Justice. He is a long standing member of he SNP's NEC and has been National Treasurer and Vice Convener of Policy. Kenny was also the SNP's Poll Tax spokesperson, leading the party's popular 'Can Pay, Won't Pay' campaign.
