David A. GantzDavid A. Gantz is Samuel M. Fegtly Professor of Law and Director of the International Trade and Business Law Program at the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law. He also serves as a member of the affiliated faculty of the Latin Amerian Studies Department. After two years with the US Agency for International Development law reform project in Costa Rica and a year as a law clerk with Judge Charles M. Merrill of the US Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, he spent seven years with the Office of the Legal Advisor, US Department of State. Professor Gantz has served as a binational panelist under the trade dispute resolution provisions of Chapter 19 of NAFTA and the US-Canada FTA and Chapter 20 of NAFTA; as a NAFTA Chapter 11 arbitrator; and as an expert witness in other trade and investment disputes.
